In a very personal statement Klaus Lehmann values Wilhelm Wagenfeld’s work and describes how he himself – in the different stages of his professional development – perceived this outstanding pioneer of design. Lehmann illuminates post-war history, searches for the roots of the design pioneers and makes new comments on Wilhelm Wagenfeld’s work.
